Join the Tree Tribe

Consider becoming a member of the Tree Tribe (free). The Tree Tribe is a group of people (conceived at the Big Green Gathering and started in November 2005)  interested in studying trees and familiarising ourselves with all aspects of tree knowledge and tree culture, reforestation and sustainable society. We share inspiration, communicate and discuss together through an email forum and may organise occasional tribal gatherings in the future. Click here to find out more detailed info: Tree Tribe

Talks, Workshops, Courses, Camps, Retreats

Anna FraserAnna, our webmother,  is open to invitations from organisations or groups of friends, who want to organise a talk, workshop or course, anywhere in the UK, on the subjects you'll find on this website . She will do this on a non-profit expenses-only basis, but please make timely enquiries since she often has a busy schedule!
Another possibility is a weekend or week-long camps with a magical mix of teaching, practical and inspirational experiences in a woodland in Wales -only 1 mile from the sea with lovely beaches! These can be arranged for small groups keen to have a more intensive encounter with the world of trees. This is a non-profit offer (cover costs made only) ideally suited for people, who want to cultivate their knowledge and skills for the healing and transformation of themselves and our world.
Anna is also open to enquiries from people, who long to spend  time by themselves on a woodland camping retreat in Wales. This is available free, inclusive of guidance (if required), firewood, etc. in exchange for some practical help around the place.

Anna Fraser was born in 1946 and has lived amongst trees and worked with trees for over 35 years in rural Wales.
Amongst many other skills, she is a retired medical herbalist and has practical experience in horticulture, country crafts, coppicing and forestry, including planting and tending orchards and a woodland.
For many years she has given talks, lectures and workshops on environmental and tree-related subjects, including Tree Identification, Tree Folklore, British Tree medicine, Tree Spirit Medicine and the many ways trees can help us in creating a sustainable society.
She has written many articles, taught herbal classes at a local college and given interviews to the BBC. Anna has also been a life-long activist and campaigner, as well as a practitioner of alternative, more sustainable lifestyles.

Courses for larger groups, schools and colleges can be arranged at ordinary rates in "Coed Marros", our local Pembrokeshire Cooperative Woodland of nearly 100 acres. Coed Marros started in 2006 and has a great team of  dedicated staff, all of whom have academic qualifications and wide experience in their area of expertise: forestry, ecology, outdoor activities, environmental sciences and sustainable architecture.

Enquiries for talks, workshops, courses and camps can be made to

or please phone
