Greetings and Welcome!

In the four years of its presence on the Web, The-Tree has grown to over 1000 leafy pages! I'm pleased to see that every month visitors open about 500.000 pages on the site! I'm sorry I have not been able to do much work for the website this last year, but hopefully that will change in the future.
The word 'trea-sure' must surely derive from being 'sure' of trees, just as the word 'wealth' has its origin in the old Anglo-Saxon word for 'wood' or 'forest', which is still recognisable in the German 'wald', meaning 'forest'!
I wish all of you sun-sparkle and moon-twinkles amongst the green leaves!

Tree Talk: News, Views, Interest, Articles and Pictures.

This is useful for people who like to read pages on a full screen, as well as for the owners of older computers with software that does not like frames and the glow-navigation buttons we've used.
