We all have the power to heal
ourselves and others,
even if bringing healing (wholeness) sometimes means
the acceptance of a terminal disease or the inevitability of death.
However, lack of confidence and faith often get in the way.
Below you find a wonderful healing ritual, which any willing group of
people can give to one another. If well prepared, it can be an
immensely powerful ritual, which can mark the beginning of a new
era in someone's life. |

healing ritual
"We gather here now in this
place for the purpose of performing a timeless ritual to free your mind-body, to
free you, and all aspects of your being, from limitations imposed upon you,
willfully or by ignorance or accident, by your fellow human beings.
We, representing all those powers that crippled you, now act to restore your
powers and freedom to you.
Assuming all responsibility for what is being restored to you, for removing all
the fetters that bind you, we lift the burdens and chains of the past from you,
even as we do fully accept you, and whatever you have done and been.
We take your hands and we restore to
you the full capacity to know and to take pleasure in the sensations of touch,
and all other sensations of your body.
We touch your eyes, so restoring your vision, that you may see clearly and
delight in a freshness of vision.
We touch your lips, and you are free to speak.
We touch your chest and you are free to breathe.
We embrace you, and you are free to respond to embrace and to express yourself
sexually.
We touch your forehead, and you are free to think, to know, and to realize the
fullness of your possibilities.
We, representing your father and your mother, and your sister and your brother,
your friend, your lover, representing all of humanity, do now set you free.
Loving you, we free you to love and
to be loved.
We accept you, honor you, recognize you as at once unique yourself, and as a
harmonious part of the great whole.
We honor you, as you know awareness of your liberation.
In the name of humankind, and of all Being, we welcome you to freedom.
It is done!

P.S. This ritual was
copied from a 1970's book I had many, many years ago. I believe it
was called "Mind Games" and written by Masters &
Houston.
If you want to copy the ritual for printing it out, you
can highlight the text with your mouse. Click 'Copy' (in the
'Edit' menu) and then open your favourite word processing
programme, where you can 'Paste' it (also under the 'Edit') menu.
You will now be able to change the colour of the text and print
it.
Alternatively you can print this page by using the facility in
your browser, but this takes a lot of expensive printing ink as it
may print the blue background as well?
